Stefani Sikora's voice is soulful and sultry, powerful and engaging. She can sing everything from Rock to Classical, but the music she writes doesn't fit into one clear-cut genre. Her music is a melting pot of the many styles of music that move her soul...Rock, Alternative, Soul, Blues, Pop/Rock, Emo. She embodies a true Alternative style.
Sikora came to Los Angeles from Oklahoma, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre, with special studies in Jazz, from the University of Tulsa. She has played the piano since age 5 and has been singing since 16, but it wasn't until later at age 23 that she unleashed her inner muse and began her journey into songwriting. The combination of her own material paired with her unique and powerful vocal is her engine.
Sikora has performed as both a solo artist and with several bands in venues all around the LA area, including The Viper Room, The Derby, Genghis Cohen, B.B. King's, and House of Blues on Sunset Blvd.
Sikora has just finished recording her debut album, “The Shine,” featuring Steve Ferrone on Drums (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers), Jon Button on Bass (The Who, Sheryl Crow), Peter Adams on Keys (Belinda Carlisle, Tears for Fears), and Melanie Taylor (Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Aerosmith, John Mayer, etc.) & Josie Aiello (Quincy Jones label) on Backup Vocals. It was produced by Steve Postell at Katonah Studios in Marina del Rey and mixed by 5-time Grammy-Award-winning mixer Ignacio Molino in NYC.
